These eight objectives define the full breadth of the Foundation’s health, education, welfare and community mandate.
- Foster a healthier society through healthcare projects, innovative health-related programmes and compassionate healthcare missions for vulnerable and medically underserved populations.
- Establish healthcare delivery, educational and welfare institutions, boarding homes, day-care centres, nursing homes and diagnostic centres as required to advance the foundation’s objectives.
- Promote strategies that help workplaces and communities mitigate health emergencies and the adverse effects of pandemics.
- Use gender-sensitive and participatory approaches in outreach and capacity-building projects for youths and families in vulnerable and medically underserved populations.
- Encourage service, community participation and engagement.
- Build strategic linkages with educational and healthcare institutions, communities, government agencies, development partners and organisations with aligned objectives.
- Produce Information, Education and Communication materials that advance the foundation’s objectives.
- Undertake other activities approved by the Board of Trustees.
